I think that the government shouldn’t have to be out patrolling the streets for underaged kids buying innapropriate videos and games and such. The truth is this: parents should take more time to watch their kids and set rules and guidelines (like responsible parents should be doing). It’s the parents’ job to RAISE and DESCIPLINE their kids, not try to be their “friends”.

1) In the USA, a lot of 15 year olds do have enough money for a PS3 – which is why they are allowed to buy them here and you arn’t.

2) No one freaked out like that was a terrorist act. In fact no one even mentioned it until the next day, and that was just the news. Like 50% of Americans don’t even watch or trust the news. Believe what you see, not what you hear.

3) The only reason Manhunt 2 isn’t coming out here is because no game company will publish an AO rating. That has been like that since the ratings first came out. It’s not a Manhunt only thing, notice there are no sex games in stores even though a few (at least for PC) exist that you can buy online, etc. Once the company gets Manhunt down to a Mature 18+ rating, then it will come out in USA, and it will still be disputed there. It’s not because we are more mature, but it’s because we know that games don’t turn people into killers. People turn themselves into killers.

Unfortunatly they have to recall it, the word is offensive to some people including some in nintendos key demographic, oh and to THESWAT (amzing how close t and s are in the alphabet) um.. remind me is manhunt 2 being published in the US let me think… No cause your censorship board put it at such a high rating that both nintendo and sony refuse to allow it on their consoles (that and there is no PC or 360 version anyway). And I can’t remeber GTA being pulled because of hot coffee over here unlike in america

I’m sorry but the comment from “THE SWAT” just wreaks of ignorance, Do you think it was the whole UK as a nation who said lets ban this game?
A lot of people are unhappy with the manhunt ban, the reason why it was banned was because of the bias media who incorrectly reported a story which was based on fiction not fact. If the 15 year old was trying to buy a game which was rated 18 of course they shouldn’t sell it to him, its because of stores doing that in the first place that this problem came to light.
