Mario Mod: Welcome to Gamer Hell

There have been some fiendish Mario mods in the past, but none have used your own gaming knowledge against you. This video shows a backwards world, where secrets and power-ups will kill you. It takes the person playing this 20 lives just to complete the first level, after finally dodging traps at every opportunity. Personally, I would’ve lasted only about five lives before jamming a controller down the creator’s throat. Darn video games giving me violent tendencies.
I’d be all for that throat thing you mentioned. I laughed out loud, but only because it wasn’t me with the controller in hand.
If life depended on my playing the game, humanity would be doomed. That is EVIL! >:(
Uh why in the hell would someone make that mod?
A poster with the name sadistic has to ask why that mod was made ? What is this world coming to ?

No, seriously, why WAS it made? There were some obiviously avoidable ones, but, that was just ridiculous. I hate any game/mod that keeps you alive, but prevents you from continuing for whatever reason (such as bricks prevent escape). I just see it as pointless.
This looks like a flash recreation. There is an actual mario mod with custom levels that are designed to be stupidly hard that only a person with in-depth knowledge of the games engine could beat. I think this is a sorta a parody of that (such as the hidden box that prevents you from jumping a pit).

This video is only level 1… i downloaded and played this game up until level 3 but can’t figure out how to jump past an impossible gap in level 3…
