I bileve that MS is very good
it is very true that you need real money to get any where past
the 50’s in this game but its really fun if u make it.
you can make friends ,enemies,kill things
its not just all about PVP like other games
and i think the graphics are really advanced
for a 2d game.
All in All
this game kicks Runescape’s butt
I give MS a 10/10
cuz im cool like that…and i havent seen any fly hackin in like a year

Maplestory is seriously addicting so beware. The gameplay is imbalanced. If you arent willing to spend rl $ then you wont get very far.

The game has evolved into something that isnt fun and is taken way to seriously by 99% of the population. The company Nexon has really turned the game into crap. There heavy focus on generating income has led the game down a dark hole. They lack customer service and customer support. So if you ever have a problem then you can forget about trying to solve it. They send computer automated responses to your inquiries that dont even address the question you answered in the first place.

So whilst the graphics are cute, and the chat system is one of the best Ive seen, the game is let down for me due to the fact of non existent customer service and the need for rl $ to get anywhere. i give it 5/10

I absolutely love maplestory… fun game and multiple jobs and advancements that keepthe game interesting and challenging… I am an avid player and always have a good rme with the many friends I play with on ms. and a comment about the hacking thing someone else wrote about, they always get caught, gm’s r always banning hackers for hacking…

10/10 ranking IMO! XD

It is honestly in the ranks of the top 10 MMORPGs every made, most likely the number one F2P. It’s fun, free, cute, has low system requirements, and it’s user-friendly. The GameMasters are starting to crack down extremely hard on hackers and scammers, thousands every week. Overall, I give it a 9.5/10. I’m glad it’s joining the immortal ranks of the Halo Trilogy and World of Warcraft. It’s deserved to for some 4 years now.

Maplestory is a great game, because it’s free, yet also addicting. I quit for about a year, but when I saw all these new pq’s and new items in the Cash Shop on the website, I just had to come back, and I went through hell and back trying to get it to work again

I have played ms fr 2-3 years i quit twice once fr 3months and the other fr 6months but i just keep coming back u do waste all ur money quickly in ms. All in all in my point of view i give ms a 9/10 xD.

Haha … I laugh at the comment “Hackers no longer exist in Maple Story”. Hacking is still EVERYWHERE in maplestory, its just not as obvious as it used to be. The GM team has really started to crack down on it but I still get kicked out of Magatia PQ from time to time by the map hackers. Fly hacking is still alive and well too but you dont see it as often. Hacking will never “no longer exist” in any game that you download. That being said, Maplestory is fantastic in the way of its uniqueness and user-friendly GUI. 8/10.

Hackers no longer exist in Maple Story and its one of the best free to play MMOs out there. Yeah, they have a Cash Shop and players with money do get advantages from it. You have to understand that they have to make money some way. The game is very addicting, even if you try to quit you’ll keep coming back. Its a very fun game and a lot of us have know about it for years. It should have caught the publics eye as soon as it was released in North America. More publicity please :]

Maplestory is an amazing game. I have quit a few times, but then i came back. The positive thing is that its alot of fun. Your money DOES burn pretty quick though. Considering there are hackers flying everywhere though, ill give MapleStory a 7/10 Not a bad game.

Wow, the character design is too far from world of warcraft but I’ll probably give it a try because of positive feedbacks that I’ve read over the internet. Maplestory is fun and all, but chances are, you will quit before level 90. I must say, it is fun in the beginning, but once you factor in the serious imbalances between classes, it becomes a game where damage output is the goal. Also, 33 million EXP???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I’ve been on and off on Maple Story, but I started playing it around 3-4 years ago, with many several-month gaps in between. I’m afraid I’m not currently playing it, because I was simply getting too bored. I’ll probably come back to it in a few months from now, wondering why the hell I ever quit it, just like I’ve done before.

An absolutely astonishing game and one of the best free-to-play MMORPGs out there and on par, or even better than, several pay-to-play MMORPGs. (Then again, your money does burn pretty quick on MS, considering how darn addictive that Cash Shop is).

9/10 on MS! =)
