Manhunt 2: Official Release Date Set

Rockstar has worked out their differences with the ESRB and Manhunt 2 is back on the menu. The ESRB has finally given the game an ‘M’ rating allowing Rockstar to set a release date. The hype surrounding this game should be huge and push sales into extremely high figures. No details have been released concerning what exactly was taken away from the game to receive the rating, but I am sure something had to go.
This Halloween, if killing people is your thing, check the shelves for this much anticipated title.

Needless to say…woohoo!
I really hope there wasn’t a lot taken out of this game because the original Manhunt was known for being horribly brutal in the way you kill your enemies. As long as there’s a way to kill someone with a ballpoint pen, then I’ll be happy. I’ll be even happier if the ballpoint kill involves the eyes and/or neck.
@daniel,
I called this back when this all happened. I firmly believe there were 2 versions created initially, the M rated version meant for resale and another that they added some explicit gore to, in order to get an AO rating. I really doubt they trimmed the game from the AO original, but rather added some useless over the top gore to the M game to get the rating.
killing someone with a ballpoint pen lol. I guess as long as you don’t dream about doing that in real life, you don’t need help.
Finally. I’ve been w8in 4 soooooooooo long 4 this game to come out. Take that BBFC!!!
