Granted, my wonderful editing skills (sarcasm intended) should have said "possibly for" instead of "a possible" regarding Book 13. That has been fixed though. As far as the paid expansion news goes, everyone has pretty much figured that it would be coming soon, but since everyone already knows about this, how would that be considered something that would "get the community buzzing"? The content of the paid expansion, yes, but the news of it, no. Most folk in the game are expecting Turbine to announce the first paid expansion.
