Magazine Scans Reveal NEW Halo 3 Details

The next issue of Gamepro magazine contains some amazing new details about Halo 3. Pictures of the article have just landed online at The Final Fight Forums. This article blows the doors off of some previous misconceptions about the final product, and introduces some new game elements as well. Listed are pictures of the Brute “Chopper”, the Magnum, and the new “Create-A-Spartan” option.
With the lack of deep player customization in the Halo 3 beta, this extensive system seems to come as a shock. Looks like new helmets, armor, and a variety of other options will give each player a very specific look. I didn’t think it was possible, but this new feature makes me even more anxious for Halo 3’s upcoming release.
Hey, this could be the new rank sytem? For every new rank you get, helmets, armor etc. will be upgraded with a new look? This way it will be easier to spot a “general” from the rest?

Let’s say you will be able to choose a new set of upgrades to your armor or stick with the plain one when you reach a particular rank?
Stein, nah, they should make it so everyone can take advantage of being able to customize. We don’t all have the hours of time available that is required to become super good. There’s other ways that we can all recognise those that have the time sorry skills to get up to high levels.

Unlocking armor when u reach certain ranks is genius
its a good idea but maybe it is just a thing that u can pick on your own and yes it looks Awesome!!! but im stayin orinal!!
wow if the new armor has attributes, like faster, more durable, a stronger melee, its gonna be gay, if it doesnt itll be really good

Come on get a life
if you read the halo novle “ghost of onxy”, you will find that this new armour is actully the “SPI” armour of a spartan 3. it lacks shielding and good armour protection but it allows the player to camoflage like an elite
“KURT Spartan-051″ wears this armour in the book until blows himself to hell with a fernris nuclear warhead along with a hell of a lot of covenant baddies. “maybey he didn’t die?” (i wonder)
ok, this game is basicaly the best game you will play in 2007-2008, nothing beats halo 3, god will not love u if u dont love it.
IN the first picture it looks like he has a knife in his armor. Im thinkin u might be able to wield a knife??
