See this is what happens when you eliminate your competition by snatching up the rights to a license. 2K sports made a better (in many regards) NFL game and made it cheaper, EA saw them as a threat to their bankroll and eliminated it...and the need to improve. EA Sports can go out and catch themselves an airborne monkey virus and die. Backbreaker has physics driven tackling with the Euphoria engine (GTA IV, Force Unleashed) and the tackles look infinitely better than this pre-animated crap. Unfortunately without the NFL license it'll never be the success that Madden is, and Tiburon/EA have no motivation to do anything to better their product. EA = Ma Bell for games.
