LotRO Lorebook: Discover Annúminas

The latest landmark in the Lord of the Rings Online Lorebook is the ruins of the once great city of Annúminas.
When Elendil of Westernesse came into Middle-earth after the destruction of Númenor, he settled at last in the northlands of Eriador and established the kingdom of Arnor. On the shores of Lake Evendim he built the great city of Annúminas, from which he ruled as High King over both the North and South kingdoms of Men: Arnor and Gondor.
Once the city of the High Kings, Annúminas has been abandoned and fallen into decay. The city that once housed the seven palantiri plays a major role in the epic storyline of LotRO: Shadows of Angmar. Players can access the full entry and google map at the Lorebook web site.
