I own both and to me its proof positive, that the xbox 360 processors are more suited to gaming than ps3 cell processor.

I don’t recall any long load times when I was playing Lost Planet a year ago on my 360……maybe that Blu-ray drive isn’t such a good idea in a game console after all.

You know why games on the Xbox 360 don’t do 5GB installs? Because its hard drive fragments like crazy!!! Try playing Oblivion on the 360 and watch the load time slow to a crawl over the course of a week or 2. Its annoying! I had the reset the system cache every once in awhile and even then that doesn’t totally solve the problem.

So what if it installs 5GB, and it takes 30 minutes?!?
It is only happening ONCE!

Back in the old days of gaming, i had to load in games via a tape recorder, and that would easy take about 5 – 10 minutes or more EACH TIME i played it!!

Some people whine every time.
At least we have Blu-ray

Because every PS3 has a hard drive and the developers want to use it. Plan on this to be more common.
