Lost Cities Coming to XBLA on Wednesday

Even though I know very little about it, I’ve actually been kind of looking forward to the XBLA version of Lost Cities, if only to satisfy my nagging curiousity. Well, it looks like we’ll all get to see how this game actually plays as early as this Wednesday, since Microsoft has just announced that’s when the game will become available for the Xbox Live Arcade. Lost Cities will have you using cards to amass points while you go on an expedition of sorts and try to beat your opponent. I’ve never played the analog game before, so I have no idea what the game is like aside from that. But that’s what I said about Catan and Carcassonne, and those turned out to be two of my favorite games for the XBLA; so I’ll certainly be giving this one a shot. Plus, this sounds almost like Microsoft’s way of saying, “Sorry about that Battlezone and Rocky and Bullwinkle nonsense last week.”
