Very little was known in the west about video games in the Soviet Union during the cold war era. Two game enthusiasts have repaired and brought back an entire collection of arcade games from the time. Alexander Stakhanov (left) and Alexander Vucman have done a great service to the world of gaming by putting together this collection.

Arcade games from the 1970s through the 1990s created in military factories were spread across the USSR and were just as popular with the teenagers as arcades were in say New Jersey. in the 1980s. Most of the old arcade games have since been destroyed and replaced with the consoles that flooded the market. If this interests you, check out the full story.
