Long-Awaited Starcraft MMO To Be Announced This Month

Blizzard Fans, listen up! You may recall that we told you about Blizzard’s search for next-gen MMO developers. Now, it’s being reported that the oft-discussed and wished for Starcraft MMO is going to be announced by Blizzard on May 19th at a South Korean event.
Now, I’m still taking this news with a grain of salt, as we all know how companies can be about new titles. But, if it’s true, it could be the biggest thing in game news for a while. With WoW’s population over 8 million strong, you have to wonder just how many more players are available for another Blizzard MMO. I wonder how many WoW players will abandon Azeroth for the battleground of the future? Only time will tell, but I can guarantee you one thing: Vivendi will make some SERIOUS money off it.
