Is it a screensaver or is it a game? Maybe it’s both? You decide.
LocoRoco Cocoreccho (don’t even ask me how you pronounce that) is an “interactive screensaver” featuring an autonomous two-dimensional environment in which the world and characters play even without input from the player. Basically, the players optionally control a butterfly (the Cocoreccho) to gather LocoRoco throughout the level and direct them to a goal large enough for them to pass through (think Katamari in two-dimensions here.) The game is touted to use the Playstation 3’s Six-Axis controller. LocoRoco Cocoreccho is yet another acid-trip inspired game from those crazy developers at SCE Japan Studios. This “crazy butterfly” screensaver/game for the PS3 will be released September 21st via Playstation Network. Oh yeah, the game will run at 1080p too.

I have no idea what the heck was going on there but I liked it
