Lesbian Sex with Aliens Apparently Not That Fulfilling

Game Set Watch columnist Chris Dahlen takes a critical look at sexuality in Mass Effect as well as other games in which players have the option of having close encounters with same sex partners.
Dahlen opens his article by comparing Mass Effect to a cheesy paperback you just can’t put down. The RPG aspect of attraction in >BioWare’s latest title according to the author is more blunt and rushed than encounters in Knights of the Old Republic or Jade Empire. He says wanting the cut scene was like craving a cheeseburger.
Given his poor opinion of the game, it’s no wonder the romantic relations between his female character and the alien Liara didn’t net him the “life altering experience” promised. It leads me to ask, whether Dahlen would’ve got something different from the encounter had he been actually drawn into the game.
