Left 4 Dead’s Release Date Pushed Back a Couple Weeks More

Remember how Valve’s upcoming co-op shooter, Left 4 Dead, was slated to finally arrive on November 4th? Well you might as well forget that date, since Gabe Newell has now announced that the release date has been pushed back a couple weeks. The game is now set to hit store shelves on November 20. People are already speculating that this latest delay may be due to marketing rather than the development process — particularly since Gears of War 2 is being released on November 7. Let’s just hope he’s not talking in “Valve Time” though, otherwise we might not see this excellent game until next year.

That is too bad, but I have been waiting for this game for a long time. A few more days isn’t going to kill me. But as far as marketing, it is a smart move on Valve’s part.
I’d cry if it weren’t for me wanting this game so badly, Valve has a big problem keeping street dates SOLID, I don’t think they’ll ever have one date and stick to it.

I don’t really understand the delay, the game is out in Russia already, so i guess this is purely marketing, which pisses me off…oh well

come on gears of war 2 is coming out big deal i am tired of alien games. we need left 4 dead to come out already i have been waiting a long time for this game and i hope valve’s can keep their word because i will be really mad if a have to wait until next year for this amazing game to come out.i hope it comes out in november forget about gears and call of duty world at war left 4 dead will be like real life.left 4 dead will prepair you if something like this would really happen.

This game is going to be a killer, much like Resident Evil games when they first came out, made huge landslide money. Woooo! Left 4 Dead will rock so hard, I can’t wait to play it, especially on PC. I can’t wait till it comes, Gears of War is another game that will be awesome. So eventually in all, I can wait another 2 weeks or so. YAY! I will be waiting Zombies! Come eat me! LMAO…
