Left 4 Dead Box Art Revealed; Doesn’t Fully Convey the Awesome

Valve has unveiled the box art you should keep an eye out for this November for their upcoming co-op zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead. Yeah, it looks cool enough, but it really doesn’t convey just how awesome this game is. To Valve’s credit though, I don’t think any one piece of art could without looking like a poster for a 1950’s slasher flick. You’d have to somehow fill the cover with hordes of zombies, gun-toting survivors, fiery explosions, and four guys all screaming into headsets before you’d even come close to showing what this game is all about. You can hear more about how me, Shawn, and Daniel’s experience with Left 4 Dead at E3 went — and how I personally doomed us all — on the File-N-Forget podcast where we discuss our take on the game.

But ive never played Left 3 Dead!!!!!!!
Doing my best to keep my hopes up for this one. Despite valve’s best efforts they may not be able to screw this one up, even with their mildly brain-damaged engine. Hell, Brainbread worked pretty well so I guess this should also work pretty well on their half-assed excuse for a “new engine.”
