Lebron “Video Game” James

Lebron James may have just earned a new nickname from Drew Gooden. For several years, Lebron has been known as “King James” but after his amazing performances against the Detroit Pistons, the nickname “Video Game” James may stick. “You do some things in video games that you don’t think you can do in real life” said James. (Quote from Forbes)
That statement is definitely true. There’s a reason you don’t play sports video games with full length quarters. James is an avid gamer, but often plays as the Phoenix Suns on NBA Live. Lebron still has many seasons ahead of him, but I think it’s safe to say that he’s to basketabll today what Magic Johnson was to the game in the 1980s and 1990s.

Me and my brother just left your King’s Academy camp at Akron and the only thing I can say is “AWESOME MAN!” What a GREAT time we had! Our team won the 5 on 5 championship! We learned a lot and hope we get to come back next year. It was really fun getting to meet you and play basketball with you. Thanks for having the camp and for taking time for us kids.
