Leaked Smash Bros Brawl Screen Unveils Final Roster?

Sure, it’s probably fake, but one can hope. gameonnintendo has two screens purportedly showing off the final character selection screen from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, showcasing a grand total of 44 characters. Only 25 characters have been confirmed to this point, and while we’d expect some to remain secret, 19 more characters seems like quite a stretch.
While it looks authentic enough, Bowser’s name being “Koopa” doesn’t seem right – or is my memory failing, and was that his name in Melee, as well?
And if it does turn out to be a fake, then I’m sincerely disappointed in the creator’s overlooking Tom Nook from Animal Crossing. You do not screw with that man.

Maybe Bowser's name in Japan is Koopa? It could be the whole M. Bison, Vega, & Balrog debacle all over again!

You've never changed the language of the game on Super Smash Bros. Melee? In the Japanese version, Bowser is indeed Koopa, Jigglypuff is Purin, and I believe there are some other differences. Someone else, confirm this! I don't have my Gamecube anymore, but I had a Japanese exchange student and we played on the Japanese language version. (It just changes text, and the above names)

Koopa is right, as is jigglypuff.
One contradiction is marth, who should be "Mars"
Most sites have already come to the conclusion it is a fake.

this is legit in melee if you change you language to japaese bowsers name changes to koopa and jigglypuff is perin the announcer will even say "KOOPA" or "PERIN"

Looks good but i think it is a fake considering that some of the character's pics are bad quality compared to some and the new characters. If this is real then nintendo added some lame news players.

oh and the icon of the pokemon trainer has charizrds wing in the back so whoever made this just took what he/she wanted from the original screen.

its fake young link looks 2-D and same as marth and the girlnext to him (sorry i don't know what game she is in, sorry) and they have to be 3-D but the only charater thats 2-D is mr game & watch, but pretty nice looks good

this is a fake, Ashley was already confirmed as an Assist Trophy, so it is photoshopped. I know that lucario jigglypuff and ness are in for sure, but the others could be fake

This was proven false long ago.. sorry.
Ashley appears on the warioware stage and has been confirmed NOt PLAYABLE.
Zelda & Olimars picture is incorrect, a real "starting" roster showed this, that starting roster was proven to be real.
Some of the characters are drawn, which proves that fake also.
Lucario's pic is wrong, but he was confirmed.
Luigi's pic is from Mario Galaxy.
The black character (not G&W) next to Cptn. Falcon has an old pic from a differen't game (same goes for the captain himself).
Mewtwo's image is ugly.
DarkSamus image is from Metroid Prime 3.
Bowser Jr. has an old old old pic.
Many characters have old old old pics.
Young links icon is a manual drawing.

Yeah, this is definately fake. edracon knows his shit……. This is actually a pretty old fake, it's been around awhile and have already been proven a fake. If you want some real answers go to brawlcentral.com…….

ok… 1) He IS Koopa in Japan. Watch the gameplay videos you stupid, stupid noobs.
2) Zero Suit isnt on here? 3) Sheik isnt on here? Hmmmn. Both of these characters were confirmed as being CHOOSABLE characters, not just transform characters.
i mean come on… how can you people possibly be missing ANNOUNCED characters? are you all braindead?

Bowser in japan is known and king koopa or koopa king and no its not batman its some other character from F zero i believe this would be an amazing roster but i think Geno from Mario RPG should be in this game he is an awsome character nintendo should make Mario RPG 2 and a new Donkey Kong country but no like the new ones konga stuff im talking like the one they made for nintendo 64 that was a sweet game

Whoa, buddy. Before you start calling people noobs, you should know your facts. YES, both Zero-Suit Samus and Sheik have been announced, but they are not technically choosable characters. Sheik, as in Melee, was just Zelda transformed with down B, and Samus changes into Zero-Suit Samus after her final smash, therefore they wouldn't be on the select screen.

Better resolution picture, in english, feasible characters, all pictures of characters check out okay…
Could still be a fake, but seems likely not to be.

all the art style for the officially announced characters can be found on the smashbros.com website which could support the opinion that it's a fake image
however, many many moons ago it was already announced in france by sakurai that baby bowser with his paint brush, ridley, and cel-link would be in the game…to support that theory i advise you all to look at the announced isle delfino stage as well as the norfair stage and ridley bossmusic being announced
Lucario as well as ness and jiggles's return was unofficially announced through one of their videos explaining sticker use but of course nintendo realized what they were doing and changed the video on us
as for for celda and the rest of the characters, all i can say is that there are not enough new series characters for this to be completely legit but then again i dont know jack shit
