Last Day for Free Wii Opera

Opera, the Internet browsing software which I happen to use on my PC, is currently free for Wii. After today however, the browser will cost you 500 Wii points. Grab it on the Wii shop channel while it still costs you nothing but the disc space. You never know when you might actually need it. According to Opera Software VP Scott Hedrick, the “Opera-powered Internet Channel for Wii is about making the Web easy to use for anyone, at any age.” Does that include newborns?
I’ve used the browser myself, and while it’s nowhere near as easy as a computer, it was sure handy when we wanted to look something up without leaving the room. Yes, we were that lazy. Check out more info on the software a Opera’s site.

Might be helpful to note it is only for folks who have not already downloaded the browser. There is no cost for those who have done so. There is no cost coming to use the browser - just to download it freshly.
