Kristin Kreuk Gets Down and Dirty as Street Fighter’s Chun Li

The latest screenshot form the upcoming film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li shows a more down to earth take on the title character. Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) is much more believable as a street fighter hunting her father’s killer, M. Bison, through the mean streets of Thailand.
My question is, do Street Fighter fans, Chun Li fans in particular, want that much realism in their cinema. Yes, the Street Fighter movie of 1994 was horrendous. This movie will have to try hard to suck more.
I just wonder if fans are going to miss seeing Chun Li kicking ass in her sexy blue mini dress? According to JustPressPlay, one of the storboards shows our heroine sporting her trademark buns so maybe there’s hope after all.
Personally I’m just waiting for some naked pictures. It’s gonna happen.

Dude! They’re gonna use CG to make Kristin’s legs look muscular! They HAVE to do that! She ain’t Chun Li without the big hips and legs.
Kristin is very beautiful and talented. She will pull of this role and be fantastic!
