Konami Shoots for Alternative DS Titles

Forget Halo 3–it’s all about doing your makeup. At least, that’s what Konami is thinking with its upcoming Nintendo DS Titles.

Konami unveiled some girl-centered gaming titles at the recent Tokyo Game Show, with a highlight on the “Dream Skin Care” title as a collaboration between Konami and Japanese beautician Chizu Saeki. The game is designed to help gamers out with better skin, and is obviously an attempt to capitalize on the untapped market of female gamers.

The game will use information entered by the player, and involves giving the best skincare advice based on a player’s temperature, weight, mood, and even menstrual cycle to give them direction on how to improve their epidermis. I guess it might also help men get in touch with their feminine side? It might be difficult, though, to guess one’s menstrual cycle if they don’t have one.
