Kane and Lynch: Starring Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton?

I’ve only had my copy of Kane and Lynch: Dead Men in my hands for an hour and already there’s new details coming out about the movie adaptation that’s already in the works. Lionsgate purchased the rights to the game from Eidos awhile back and is already trying to fast-track it into production. Most interesting among the new details emerging is that Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton are both in the running to play the two characters. A script has already been written by newcomer Kyle Ward.
Considering even the less-than-stellar reviews for the game are acknowledging a gripping story, this could actually be solid video game film for a change. I could see both Willis and Thornton pulling off these roles fairly well, though I’m not sure who should be Kane and who should be Lynch. I just hope it doesn’t turn into Bandits 2.

I had high hopes for the game, but if they get the story right (don’t dumb it down, i wouldn’t mind it being a NC-17 movie)
I liked Bandits
-Shrugs- I would have went with Michael Ironside and Johnny Depp (or Paul Giamatti)
Actually Simon Pegg & Nick Frost would be good
Too bad Michael Ironside is too old to play Kane, because if you look at the picture posted above, they kind of resemble each other.
Now that I have looked up the ages of BW and BBT and compared them to Michael Ironside, he is 57 and the other two are 52. Not much of a difference, but when was the last time that Bruce had a huge hit at the box office? The same can be said for Billy Bob.
