Kane and Lynch 2 Already in the Works

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men may still be over a month away from release, but that hasn’t stopped Eidos from announcing a sequel. Apparently the company has a large amount of faith in the game and has been putting more cash into marketing it than any of their Tomb Raider games. Says Jane Cavanagh, CEO of Eidos’ parent company, SCi:
“We’ve already got Kane & Lynch 2 in production, which just goes to show the belief we have in it as a long-term franchise.”
If the first game turns out like the demo I saw at PAX, they may have the right idea. I just hope this doesn’t delay the next Hitman game too much. My razor wire finger’s getting itchy.
Kane and Lynch: Dead Men should be out for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 on November 23.

iight yea man u should know by now 360 and ps3 games r 60 bucks so hope u got 60 if u want dis homie….. but i gotta say i hope kane and lynch has a long franchise because i thought it was a great game but the only thing i didnt like was the ending and just a thought what would the next 1 be about?????? i mean as far as us players know kane was done he killed all of the 7 and theres nothin left so keep it posted for us dude

yes im shure you all know that kane and lynch 2 will be coming out and if you are hitman fans hitman 5 hired guns will coming out kane and lynch 2 will coming out in 2009

can the missions be in the states and not in Havana because i HATED THOSE MISSIONS they sucked, will we be fighting Tharpa, and Shelly?

Hey this is just so great that they are making a sequel. It had such a good story, and I love the way it felt like you were in an action movie. I especially like the huge dance club in Tokyo. Shooting bouncers across masses of dancers and having mass hysteria break out, and sometimes accidental shooting innocent people that just got caught up in the crossfire, with Lynch cussing up a storm and playing mind games with you. It is the best visual level of the game.
They can still improve on the controls and have the guns feel more like the guns in “Call of Duty 4″ or even “Rainbow 6 Vegas”. The cover mechanism should also be improved. The next one should involve Kane’s daughter, she can be a trained mercenary who you can choose to play as. They should have a level where you go to Vegas and you shoot up The Luxor and then have the fight follow you as you make your way to the MGM diagonally across the street. The the action can continue into the Studio 54 and then all the way to the Garden Arena during a concert. They could also include a Streets of San Francisco level where you shoot up the enemies from the back of the Van. It would be pretty cool to see the hilly and curvy road behind you while the sun is setting as you drive through the Bay Bridge or Golden Gate. They really have the potential to make this game a Perfect 10. Only time will tell.
I like the idea of playing as a more hardened and mature Kane’s daughter. That would/could be the most original theme in a game, since Nikita.
