Judge Judy Slams World of Warcraft Player

Somehow, I never thought I’d be writing a post about Judge Judy — People ’s Court maybe — but here I am. Anyway, a recent episode of the courtroom show dealt with a couple who split up because the boyfriend was unemployed and couldn’t pay any of the rent. The girlfriend was particularly annoyed that he seemed to spend all his time playing World of Warcraft. What makes this especially entertaining though is how the Judge had never heard of the game before and needed to have the name repeated to her several times. I give it a couple months before there’s an episode of Jerry Springer featuring WoW. Cheaters and their Warcraft mistresses perhaps?

Ironically, my best friend's dad broke up with her step mom because she played WoW too much and had an online boyfriend in Australia. So anyone, male or female, is at risk of losing their significant other if they play World of Warcraft too long. Lol. ^^

Great, I just had to watch that as my wife happened to walk by. "Louder and bigger on screen please !" is what she said. Then: "Where's the rest of it ?". I can only hope she meant the rest of the video. I explained that Halo was nothing like WoW. That seemed to work for now.

Yeah, it seems to be all over the news lately. CIS:NY is doing an episode with a WOW clone on it this week. I saw the previews.

Actually, it's Second Life, but yeah, part of it looks a lot like WoW.
