Jonathan Coulton Sings "Still Alive" On RockBand

Last week, a file was unearthed from a batch of RockBand DLC that revealed a possible list of future songs for the game, including the infamous “Still Alive” from Portal. Well, with this new video, I’d say that track is at least 99% confirmed. At the Valve party during this year’s GDC, Jonathan Coulton, the artist behind the song, took the stage to sing his own tune on RockBand. As you can see, there’s an actual track with vocals, guitar and drums for the game out there, so I’d say it’s only a matter of time before it shows up online. Honestly, I am giddy with anticipation right now.

    Giddy is not the word. I just hope they release this song by itself rather than be part of a pack. *crosses fingers*

    Valve is doing something.. first their entire Orange Box collection available on Audiosurf, now this..

    I wonder if the next Half-Life related game will be a rhythm game.

    Good god, is that awful! Where's the big gong when you need it? You'd have to be pretty deaf and stupid to think that Coulton could sing.

    There was already a video before of him and some others performing this (yes on rockband) at one of his shows, he said "I guess this is officially announced then"
