Super Smash Bros. Brawl Japanese Trailer (WMV)

Every weekday, the Smash Bros. Dojo brings us some new tidbit of information about the upcoming Wii title, Smash Bros. Brawl. Though this has helped keep the buzz for the game running steady for months now, it mostly gives us screenshots and cinematic trailers rather than actual gameplay. Luckily, and new trailer from Japan shows almost all of the announced elements in action. In the video above, you can see the majority of the characters duking it out, as well as some assist trophies being used, and Final Smash moves being unleashed. It’s only a small glimpse, but seriously, this game has been known as a must-buy for Wii owners for months (even before the perfect Famitsu score).

it looks like the first 2 with more characters, moves, and levels… isnt that how every fighting game sequel is? i hate hype good game or not.

Did I see the dog from the Nintendogs cover in there? lol

@Thor, If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

@Norbit, yes it is, it’s an assist trophy, an item that drops and then acts similar to the pokeballs in previous games, some are just distractions others can attack your opponents.

If I actually had a Wii I’d be lining up outside Game at 4 in the morning to get it.

    WANT!!!

  5. Daniel says:

@Thor: The game mechanics for this game are genius. They are so simple that anyone can just jump in and play (I mean, it’s just jump, attack, block, and special attack). If you dedicate yourself to the game and learning about every little thing and learning how every character moves and fights, it can be an incredibly deep game even the hardcore have trouble mastering.

you guys took that wrong, all i was saying is i can do without the hype, i loved the first two smash bro’s and im sure this will be just as good as them. just can’t stand hype.
