Japan Getting a TV Guide-like Channel in Spring

It already serves to bring your family together to play games and have fun, and as a message board to leave notes to others on. Now, it’ll also double (or quadruple, whatever it’s up to) as a TV Guide of sorts, at least if you’re in Japan. A new channel will be releasing featuring a television guide for Japanese Wii owners next spring.
Apparently Nintendo wants the Wii to become a friend to your TV. Maybe it’s to make up for all the TVs that flying Wiimotes damaged.
No word on if this will ever come to the US, but there’s a demonstration of how it works on Nintendo’s website, albeit in Japanese. Check it out here.
