It may not even be noon yet, but this video already wins my vote for “Strangest Video of the Day.” A guy dropping from the sky onto a cab is strange enough, but then it turns out to be a German soldier? It’s like a nightmare Winston Churchill would’ve had. Well, if he had lived long enough to even be worried about Germany. That’s the premise for Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Codemasters new game for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. In the alternate history of this game, Churchill died long before he could ever help lead the rallying cry for the U.S. to enter World War II. Without the U.S. to back them up, the British surrender to Germany. The game picks up in 1952, with the German invasion of New York forcing the United States into action. Cool-sounding story, creative trailer: already I’m intrigued.
