Third parties are gonna lose out as well becasue their cheaper (sometimes better) peripherals are going to become outdated. Not to mention the wasted expenditure by Sony to create the original set of controllers. Might not be that much, but they must cost something to develop, any Sony aren't exactly raking it in with the PS3. You are selling your self short. you loose either way. Get an 80GB model and its has software emulation and No rumble, both sucks. The ultimate would be 60GB with Hardware backwards compatability and buy some dual shock controlers extra. Sony just shot themselfs in the foot yet again. this may hurt sales if people know a rumble controller is soon out. and yes the xbox 360 has software emulation for their games.
