Irrational Games might be one of my new favorite developers. They seem to be one of the only real developers truly interested in what their fans have to say, as shown in their willingness to include whatever gamers wanted in their limited collector’s edition release. Unfortunately, the exclusive “BIOSHOCK: BREAKING THE MOLD†book that was supposed to be included simply did not fit in the packaging in time for release. Luckily for us, Irrational Games has stayed true to their word, giving us the entire Bioshock design book, for free.

I’m not going to bore you with words here. The visual design of this world is simply breathtaking, and these images will stay as wallpapers on my desktop for a long time. The .PDF booklet can be downloaded in high and low resolution formats, so the artwork can truly be seen in the fullest detail. Be careful reading the introduction, as it seemingly contains plot spoilers from lead designer Ken Levine. Did I mention this is all free to download from their site?
Now if only I could get the demo to finish downloading…

Oooooh, pretty.
well i guess it would be to big to fit…unless they made the collectors package the size of warcraft 3’s package was….thats where i got a HUGE artbook
oh welli still preordered collectors for pc because its worth just the big daddy alone
I’m a huge fan of the Bioshock design. Not only do I love the 30s-50s style, I’m happy that the team incorporated it so well. I know Rapture is supposed to be set in 1959-6X but the architecture is still that of the 40’s and 50’s.
i like the art but if u guys can tell me if the game is worth buying for my coputer itll be a great help
Bioshock RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
