Iron Chef America Supreme Cuisine is set to challenge Cooking Mama’s position with Wii and Nintendo DS fans. Budding chefs will battle in their living rooms to dramatic music of the popular Food network series. Little information on the title is available yet. It seems the host Mark Dacascos is along for the ride, but as to which of the Iron Chefs will be represented or if commentator Alton Brown has committed to the project is still a mystery.

“If the early buzz surrounding the game is any indication, then fans of the show and Nintendo owners are as excited as we are to be developing Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine,” said Paul Rinde, CEO of Destineer. “With their innovative control dynamics, Wii and DS are the ideal system for the inaugural Iron Chef video game and believe the ultimate ‘secret ingredient’ to these games will be family fun.”

One thing is for sure; gamers can expect more drama, more exotic (translated repulsive) ingredients and a fast paced battles to challenge virtual chefs. Take a look at this announcement trailer from FileFront.
