john c mcginley Interview with Scrubs John McGinley, Voice of Dead Head FredMTV’s gaming blog, GameDrop, recently sat down with John C. McGinley to discuss his role as the title voice in the new PSP game, Dead Head Fred. The game puts players in the role of Fred Neuman, a private investigator who, after a brutal murder and a bizarre science experiment, find himself without a head, and so he sets out to find out just what happened to him. Some of you may remember McGinley from the many films he’s been in, from Platoon to Office Space to the more recent Wild Hogs. But more importantly, I know him as one of my favorite and most quotable TV characters of all time, Dr. Cox, on Scrubs. In the interview he discussed how he got involved with the project and what it was like to come up with a personality for a guy without a head. It sounds like he definitely had a lot of fun working on it, and there’s even a video of him in the recording studio, spouting off even more great lines.

As much as I hate Scrubs, John McGinley is awesome on that show.
