infinity ward Infinity Ward Extends Job Offer to Ex EA Chicago Staff

Last week, EA Chicago was abruptly shut down by the corporate suits that cited the studio’s inability to meet certain criteria as the reasoning. While EA has apparently been trying to move the staff to other studios, fellow developer Infinity Ward has reached out to help their brethren.

If you’ve logged onto Call of Duty 4 in the past few days, you may have noticed the Message of the Day, which stated the following:

EA Chicago: Infinity Ward is hiring. jobs@infinityward.com

Major props to Infinity Ward for trying to do what they can to help out the developers from EA Chicago. You’ve got to admire this gesture from a completely unrelated developer.
