In Case You Forgot- Hell’s Kitchen will be Invading the Wii and DS

Last October, Variety reported that Gordon Ramsay’s series, “Hell’s Kitchen” was being turned into a videogame. After this interesting announcement, nothing else was heard of the game but it has popped up on the net again today thanks to a Silionera post.

Granada America, which produces the show, is teaming up with developer Ludia to bring the game to the DS and the Wii. The game will recreate the “kitchen boot camp” feel of the series and it is unknown whether it will grace the PC, other consoles or the PSP as of yet.

In Hell’s Kitchen, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is prominently featured , blazing up the kitchen with his trademark intensity. His likeness will taste and comment on the culinary creations of players, as well as judge their overall performance. The game also features a recipe book with several of Gordon Ramsay’s favorite food concoctions for players to print, try out and share. It is expected to hit shelves sometime in September.

To be honest, the game will not be as fun as the show Hell’s Kitchen, nor his other show “Kitchen Nightmares” which is my personal favorite of his. It just will not fell like a Gordon Ramsay game unless he is calling you an idiot, a stupid cow, a f***ing moron, a fat bastard or any other profane word I am not allowed to sat via company policy. Plus, I am sure his pixelated image will not be near as sexy either. Grrrrr.
