The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) has announced the launch of Immune Attack video game. The game was designed to make learning about immunology fun.
“My students were very engaged while playing Immune Attack. The video game provides great visuals and allows the students to interact while playing the game. The kids really wanted to master the game and to do that they needed to learn the immunology concepts,” said Netia Elam, AP Biology Teacher at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, VA.
Immune Attack exposes players to the subject with sights, sounds, and touch as well encouraging interaction and problem-solving discussions among students. FAS hopes to not only make learning about immunology enjoyable, but to stimulate interest in biology.
“Immunology is a complicated subject to learn. The challenges in Immune Attack give those who might not otherwise be interested in biology the chance to learn in a fun, hands-on manner they won’t find in a text book,” said Michelle Lucey-Roper, director of the Learning Technologies Program at FAS.

Tried it and .. zZzZzz .. I guess you gotta be into the stuff to find this game fun.
I haven’t tried it yet. I just thought it was weird that there was no mention of it being free, and no link to where to get it. Didn’t look like the source article had a link to it either.
Fixing that oversight now Evismang
Get here a good review on the immune system, read before playing the game.
