IGG Gets IDG Financing

igg IGG Gets IDG FinancingInternet Gaming Gate has announced the completion of a $4.5 million round of Series A funding led by IDG Technology Venture Investment (IDGVC Partners).

The company plans to use funds to expand its current service of North America and Europe to market games in more regions and for player of different languages. IGG hopes to expand global sales and marketing and further research and development of more innovative and entertaining games.IGG launched its first MMORPG in May 2006.

Its current titles include Zu Online, Tales of Pirates and Angels Online with Godswar Online launching in Q2 2008.
