Huge RPG Being Shown In Next Month’s Nintendo Power

The following quote is from Nintendo Power:
“Next month’s cover story is an RPG so fantastic, so engrossing, so epic, and so hush-hush that we’d have to erase your memories if we told you what it is. In fact, maybe we already did. Role-playing fans, get ready for a big one.”
I could speculate on what RPG this is, but I have no clue. I truly hope that this huge RPG game being announced is something for the Wii. In my opinion, the Wii could really use several good RPG titles. I’m sure it will end up being something for the DS, but I can still hold out some hope.

Oddly enough I find it funny. For all the “The PS3 has no games” chatter I hear, no one EVER calls out the wii. Which, I’m sorry…by video game standards, has had some really crappy titles. I have yet to play 1 3rd party game that didn’t stink.
So hopefully …..this is for the wii. If not, I guess I’m still just waiting on No More Heros

I pray for a new Earthbound or at least a Mother 3 port. But that’s my fanboy wishful thinking.
3rd party good game…. Zake and wiki… medal of honour heroes 2… well, actually those are the only GREAT 3rd party games… there are some other good ones, but yea, most suck. however, you cant say nintendo has being too much either. galaxy was a long time coming… metroid prime wasn’t much for me… zelda was a gamecube game. mario kart looks fun, but i doubt its gonna be something special. smash brawl is going to be amazing, but it had a great foundation. xbox 360 does have the best games by far. especially with their 2008 lineup
A sequal to a past favorite? I bet its earthbound. But those games aren’t that well known in the states unless the next sequal is so damn earthshattering its worth hyping it this much?
This was blogged about else were with people who have the copy of NP already. its Sonic RPG. the battles are said to be like Elite Beat Agents. (!!!) lets hope that this sonic game doesn’t suck.
