I have known so many female gamers.. so many.. and I'm raising 3 myself these days. The key here is really to find games that appeal to everyone - are good, tell a good story or are just plain fun to play. Gender has no bias to fun. Also involve them, invite them, encourage them and don't be dicks when they beat you or condescending-- you know the same things that work in having a conversation or a relationship with a woman.
