How Many Consoles Have You Owned?

Time seems to fly in the video game world. It’s hard to imagine that my first console was Pong and now I am playing games on my Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PS3. I haven’t really thought about it much, but I am one of the few people in the world who can say they have owned at least one system from every generation of home consoles. My true love for video games actually started in the arcades, which has sadly become a dying thing. Dragon’s Lair is definitely responsible for my love of games. I can’t technically say I was completely around for the 1st generation considering I got Pong and the Atari 2600 for Christmas in 1983 when I was six. If you had to ask me which system brings back the best memories, I would have to say the Sega Genesis. I’m not sure what it was about that time period, but the games for the Genesis were always great. Nowadays, it’s really hit or miss with the games out there. Below is the list of 18 consoles I have owned over the years. Of course, I have also owned a number of portable systems, and computers but that’s an article for another day.
The list of consoles I have owned follows the break.
