Jesper Kyd is quite the popular composer these days it would seem. He’s already composed the music for Assassin’s Creed and Kane and Lynch: Dead Men, and now it looks like his work from Hitman: Blood Money is now available online. The 15-song soundtrack was released on CD earlier, but now it’s up for download on iTunes as well as Sumthing Digital.
“Jesper Kyd’s unique and emotionally intense scores for Hitman are synonymous with the main character Agent 47 and revered by fans as an essential signature of the blockbuster action/stealth video game series,” said Andy Uterano, President of Sumthing Else Music Works. “Due to popular worldwide demand, we’re now making the Hitman: Blood Money soundtrack available for digital download on iTunes as well as Sumthing Digital, alongside his BAFTA award-winning soundtrack for Hitman: Contracts.”
Kyd has won numerous awards for his soundtracks over the years, including this one. Still, the only song I remember from Blood Money is “Ave Maria.” Frankly, that’s the only song I remember from any Hitman game though.
