Hilarious Battlefield: Bad Company Parody Video Pokes Fun at (What Else?) Microtransactions

Ever since EA revealed that the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company would feature weapons that had to be purchased before they oculd be used, I’ve been waiting for someone out there to make a parody video about it. Thankfully, Sarcastic Gamer has delivered with this hilarious spoof of a video game ad. I’d explain it, but the video really just speaks for itself. They’re also calling for a boycott of the game, but it still looks too sweet to pass up to me. “EA: It’s in the game!”*
*Just not all of “it”…

That vid just owned.
That was hilarious.
Will I be getting BF:BC? Yes. Will I be getting any of the DLC that isn’t mission or map based (even then)? No.
I hope when Nintendo jumps on the DLC bandwagon they don’t have useless micro transactions… Square-Enix has already made that mistake.
That was awesome
When you buy a game you naturally expect it to include _everything_.. Anyone who’s going to purchase this crap is the exact same dumb people who keeps on buying Madden/NHL/Fifa whatever year after year. Pathetic.
Nice video. DLC is stupid in my opinion. Who really wants to spend $60 – $70 on a game, then have to shell out more money for some crappy “extras”. Horse armor was the worst of these so far.
Speaking of which, I think that Battlefield Bad Company could really use some Horse Armor. Maybe The Orrerry, as well.
This video scares me more because maybe EA didn’t think of some of the things said of in here to charge for…
I like DLC for a good, solid game. As in, once the game is out a half a year, they release maps, etc. And expansions. But EA has brought it to a new low. I very rarely download priced DLC, only the free ones, but allowing someone to get ahead through DLC in a multiplayer game is just plain dirty.
