High-Definition Gaming: Does It Make A Huge Difference?

I recently upgraded my audio/visual setup to include a 50 inch HDTV DLP television and 800w surround theatre system. I was previously happy with my standard definition television and now know exactly what I was missing. After only a couple days of gaming in high-definition, I now realize I can never go back to the old ways. Unfortunately, the only next-gen system that really makes no difference when it comes to HD is the Nintendo Wii, but you can enjoy Xbox 360 and PS3 games in HD quality.
I can say that there is a huge difference in gaming experience when you go to HD. . I would even say that it improves your skills at certain games. With the surround sound, it’s much easier to hear someone trying to sneak up on you in Halo 2 for example.
