Hideous Gaming Tattoos: An Exploration of Body Abuse

In the course of scouring the internet for gaming-related tidbits, far too often I come across one sad trend time and time again. I speak of course of gaming tattoos. At some point long ago, a handful of devoted gamers decided that they loved their video game characters so much that they wanted them adorned on their body forever. It was meant to be a perfect fusion of the “cool” with the “geeky.” What they failed to consider though, was that the majority of people devoted enough to video games to brand them on their bodies for life are by definition not the coolest people around. More often than not a “gaming tattoo” means some poorly-sketched Nintendo character emblazoned on a hairy, pudgy belly that scars my childhood memories just a little bit more with each viewing. Thankfully, Gamer Help has compiled a list of the 30 worst gaming tattoos they’ve seen and done what comes naturally: mocked them. Enjoy.
