hellgate Hellgate: London Vivisected

As the spiritual successor of Diablo II, Hellgate: London has been under intense scrutiny since launch. Unfortunately due partially to Flagship releasing a somewhat incomplete and buggy game, it’s taken heavy fire from critics and gamers alike.

The Diablo II team left Blizzard, formed their own company, and set about to topple their own creation. Their vision resonated deeply with fans: Diablo, but first-person, with guns, fighting zombies, in a post-apocalyptic future. It’s Diablo meets Doom meets Fallout. This wasn’t just a game concept, this was a roadmap for world domination. Would anyone ever stop playing this game? Would there be any point to making more games after this one was released?

Twenty Sided has vivisected the title to see if they can’t find out where Hellgate: London, which should have been a sure thing, went so wrong. Anyone unfamiliar with Twenty Sided will find a biting satirical look at the game, delivered with plenty of entertainment value. Check out Hellgate: London Autopsy on Twenty Sided.

there was nothing wrong with this game outside of the bugs…..they should have said THIS IS NOT DIABLO 3 right on the box, then people would not have expected diablo 3, then people would have cut it more slack, you retards shouldn’t expect diablo 3, this is just a game…calm down and treat it like any other

Agreed, but the only thing that’s keeping me from playing it right now is the fact that I need more Free Space on my HDD :P but I can handle that situation sometime soon
