Hellgate London Pre-Order Beta Promotion

As if the benefits of pre-ordering Hellgate: London were not already confusing, this strange promotional flyer? (right) starts showing up in Hellgate: London community members’ digital mailboxes today.
At first, it seemed those pre-ordering Hellgate: London were getting in on the beta opportunity. Then it turns out, the early Beta was indeed limited to a select few with a signup opportunity for a potential future beta stage. Then a few days ago we were given this message via the official Hellgate: London website:
Pre-order But No Beta
We know, we know – there are a number of you that are still waiting to get into the Beta. We feel your pain, we really do. Thing is, we’ve been working on a few major bugs and other issues, but are close to squashing them with the power of the almighty Mjolnir!
While we can’t give you a specific date and time as to when you’ll be let in, it shouldn’t be too long. We’ve got a lot of you in so far, and all this testing has only made everything that much better.
Remember, this Beta is not ending on October 7 as some of you might think. We’re going to run it as close to launch as possible, so even if you were let in the Beta with one of the later groups, you’ll still have plenty of time to get in on the action. Think of it this way: the later you get let into the Beta, the better the game will play. Less bugs, less crashes, more Hellgate. And that’s a good thing, right?
Have faith, my friends! We won’t disappoint you!
Even more confused? So are we. Remember, the game hits shelves at the end of this month. Getting to beta something a week prior to game launch doesn’t seem like much of a perk. Regardless, if you are one of the unlucky pre-orderees, hang in there as we await an official date for that “promised” beta.

wow “but are close to squashing them with the power of the almighty Mjolnir!” is one of the best things ive heard a dev say in a while.
oh yea, and let them squash bugs please, thats alot more freakin important than a beta. id rather play a working game.
Forget the beta key. I pre-ordered through EA, through a link that disappeared off the Hellgate: London main site. I smell b-s. I don’t think I even trust EA’s store to send me the game when it does come out.
yo dudes do u guys know what means a preorder?:D
im not american
