Heavy Rain Gameplay Looks Sweet in This New Trailer

There are a few reasons you should care about Heavy Rain. For one, it’s already looking to combine a very interactive storytelling experience. For another, this is a game Sony specifically sought out to secure as an exclusive for the PS3. But the main reason this game’s worth keeping an eye on is the mere fact that it’s being developed by Quantic Dream, the same team behind 2005’s phenomenal Indigo Prophecy. I Know I’ve personally been wanting them to create a new game for some time now, and from the looks of this trailer, they’re definitely on the right track.

Doesn't look as much like gameplay as it does like random button pressing. Regardless, I've been looking forward to this title and I'm happy no one's forgotten about it. Quantic Dream certainly has been taking their sweet time with it. Oh well, better overdeveloped than underdeveloped.

The random button pressing and atmosphere in Heavy Rain reminds me of the stuff you'd do in Shenmue, which can only be a good thing.
If you guys don't have a PS3 yet (or a 360, for that matter), you should take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on where you could win the system of your choice simply by designing a 6 Hour Power t-shirt online. There are less than 180 entrants as of now too, so you have to like your chances. For contest details, go here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview
Along with the system, you could win a copy of Rise of the Argonauts, a year's supply of 6 Hour Power energy shots, and more. Let me know if you enter too, and I'll definitely vote for your design. I work with them so feel free to e-mail me any questions you have too. Good luck.
