Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Diary 2 Video

This newest video from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game from EA (out this month) focuses mainly on sound effects for the game. Yes, sound effects are important, and it is really interesting to watch the process. Whether you are a fan of the Harry Potter games or not, it does not matter because this video will give you an idea of the work that goes into sound effects for all games. After watching this, I have to say that I am a little bit jealous that they got to shoot off a homemade mini-cannon in a deserted parking lot. Such nice perks that go with a job like that – about the only thing I ever get to shoot off is my mouth, and usually that never ends up being fun or considered a perk. Another thing that also interested me was that everyone in this video had British accents. The book was written by a Brit, the movie stars loads of Brits, and I am just wondering if it is a prerequisite to working on anything Harry Potter related that you be a citizen of Great Britain. I smell a conspiracy.
