It would'nt let me select maximum speed or maximum strength when I needed it. I even bought a new mouse and still had the same problem. Also even with my 7600GS card and 2GB ram the game framerate dropped severly in medium settings to 'slideshow' mode with a little bit of added jerk'o'vision. I did however play through to the end on lowest settings with 800 X 600 res which looked quakish. I DLed this demo and the UT3 demo and tried both to see which would get my full attention this year. UT3 has a nice refined look to it and improved AI, but you know? It's a UT2004 with better graphics... and weapons which, though vastly improved over the past 8 years as you would expect, have been around for EIGHT YEARS! Crysis, ahhh.... INCREDIBLE! The demo did for me what the original Unreal did for me back in '98. It's the essence of a game that makes me lose sleep, the adventure of exploring the developers' minds and creativity which will keep me up all night getting WASDed. This is one game which promises to have me dreading to go to work every day from November 17th on... I especially liked boosting in the trucks and ramming the humvees, or shooting the gas tank on the back of the humvee which explodes it. I really didn't like the suit selection and the enemy AI was appalling. The graphics were great but overall it was disappointing.
