hey i think the halo movie would be a pretty good movie cause they’re thinkin about makin it up to MA or R plus the game was not rated M it was always MA ok god who cares if it suks the point is that it will be a relief that we saw it as quick as possible so we dont have to wait and get excited then find out its a peice of crap.
Me personally i loved those games and id love to see that movie

Whenever I am reading someones opinion in relation to games and they use the term M$, Micro$haft,or any other bastardization for said company, I stop reading, why? Because it was cute at first, now it just displays ignorance. God opinions make my head hurt sometimes.

Silly me. And here I thought that the fabrication of bacteriological and nuclear weapons, slavery, racism, war and eating a big mac at McDonald’s amongst other things could contend for the title of the “Worst Idea Ever”. Thanks for the enlightenment!

Hey, just because I’m not here, doesn’t mean you win anything. I didn’t even notice there was a comment until recently.

The reason I think it’s the worst idea ever?

Because the game and the books are all set in an overdone setting, with overdone plot lines, and would be a hook to younger gamers, as the game is rated M but the movie would be pg-13 as it would be only ‘fantasy violence’ even if you saw boobs, it’d be pg-13 so it’d still be welcoming a younger audience.

In my opinion Micro$haft needs to market appropriately, instead of pushing it’s products on kids.

Not only that, but nobody would see the movie anyway, any body who did would probably have pirated it.

I mean, according to the movie industry no body wants to see movies anymore they just want to play halo multiplayer online.

that, and since when has there been a good movie based on a video game?
This whole thing is a pile of horse crap.

If they are still trying to get financial backing it would be funny if a BluRay exclusive production company like MGM, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures or Sony did end up financing it.

I was a bit worried at first about the idea of a live-action Halo film, given the tendency of game-based movies to suck, but “Landfall” changed my mind about that. I hope they do make it; they seem to have found some good people to get involved in the film.
