I've noticed a ton of random XBox Live disconnects since the launch of Halo 3. It's almost like the servers weren't prepared for what they received.

It surprises me, because they had to know what was coming, especially considering the volume of preorders that were out there.

The Halo flu is there for some people im sure, but most have to work and Halo 3 dont affect that. As for the Halo flu, i would like to point out that Xbox live must have gotten that Halo flu. There was defenite lag in games and caused frustration among many gamers not playing Halo 3.

After playing a little Halo 3. I reverted back to Rainbow Six vegas. There was quite a few players complaining how their Xbox live connection now sucks and how the flood of Halo 3 was causing games to lag. I personaly found this to be the case also.

My internet is Highspeed DSL and the 360 is always the only connection when playing on Xbox live. People dont like to see poor connections or you get the boot. Last nite my connection aswell as many others in Rainbow Six vegas went from a usual green-yellow, To a Evil Red dot. I am wondering has anyone else has this problem playing similar games?

To answer the question, I did not get bitten by the Halo 3 flu, but my Xbox live connection did.
